Prelude

Enveloped by a dark blue hue, she was lost in a surreal underwater illusion. Vast and unknown, elusive whispering could be made out faintly among the reverberating decay that chimed within her ears. Her eye lids were relaxed, her naked body inexplicably floating within a series of bubbles that dissipated. Alive she felt, for her lungs were able to sustain her like gills on a fish. And then the water evaporated into tiny droplets that seemed to rise above her head while her body dropped down to an unknown surface beneath her. Relaxed upon her knees, silken vestments began to arrange themselves upon her form. The seams combining themselves together while golden stitches appeared with a bright glow to fasten them. Her head rose to look before her while her floating dark hair danced into a braid…

Intangible chains were shackled upon her wrists, her neck, her fore arms, and legs…. And ahead of her gaze was the man who held them with his monochromatic wings of black and white.

His form merely a silhouette standing before a silver light… Though imprisoned she seemed, secure and safe she felt by his presence near her. The chains tied them both together; A fate that was established as a destiny by the Goddess Serendipity herself.
